Funding Criteria

- Climate Adaptation or Mitigation (Rio Marker 2) while doing at least no harm to biodiversity, ideally support/ strengthen it
- excluded: hunting-related activities and eco-tourism

- feasibility studies, due diligence work, environmental and social safeguard checks, pilots to prove concept, or assistance to develop business models
- total value of assets or annual turnover of at least €5 million
- co-investment needed

Additional information

Grant process by DFCD Origination Facility includes Technical Assistance and forwarding to the relevant Investment Facility.
The Origination Facility is co-managed by World Wide Fund for Nature Netherlands (WWF-NL) and Stichting SNV Nederlandse Ontwikkelingsorganisatie (SNV).
